I have been living on a budget (Excel based) for 30+ years. I always figured it was “traditional” before reading this article. Not sure what you call this method but it is still a budget. I always say “the bottom line is the bottom line” which simply means live at or below your means. It works!!!! Either way, successful finances demand boundaries no matter what you call the method. So, I basically agree with this concept but wouldn’t call budgets “restrictive,” for example. An important message and badly needed today.
